When you were younger did you ever imagine what cars would be like in the year 2020? Flying and autonomous vehicles were certainly at the forefront of many minds… well, this is pretty close to it! Welcome to Vision-S by Sony.
The launch for a self-driving, electric car. The Vision-S is simply how Sony sees the vehicles of the future. ‘Moving Towards Evolution in Mobility’ is the trick behind the technology used with the new concept.
More about the Car
With 33 automotive-grade sensors and a 360-degree eye installed both inside and outside of the car. The Vision-S is described as a “Safety Cocoon” and will take precautions more carefully and faster than humans can.
Rather than traditional wing mirrors the Vision-S has provided camera-enabled rear-view imaging, therefore providing a better and safer view than most present cars can give.
The inside is designed to give you a unique experience. There is a panoramic display that covers the entire dashboard, allowing you to choose the environment for your journey. As well as this, the concept includes driver monitoring, and no, this is not to catch anyone out. Facial expressions and body movement to gauge concentration and fatigue levels sending out alerts when necessary.
Above all, whether you’re the driver or you’re riding shotgun you are certainly in for a treat with Vision-S.
So, as you can see this car comes with many features ready to compete with current automotive brands. You can find more information on this beauty by visiting the Vision-S on Sony’s website. This is the future of our roads… what do you think?
