Key role and responsibilities as a Strip Fitter / MET Technician

* Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
* Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
* To report unseen damage absent from estimate as soon as its identified
* Have a good level of efficiency and attention to detail
* Be able to work in a team and as an individual

Minimum requirements as a Strip Fitter / MET Technician

* Time served and/or qualified to city & guilds or NVQ level
* ATA is advantageous but not essential

Mobile HGV Technician

Mobile HGV Technician Duties:

* To service and maintain all makes of vehicle, accurately diagnose faults and report finding to the workshop foreman
* To attend defect clinics where needed
* To attend, diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside
* Liaise with the parts department to ensure the correct part are ordered
* Accurate completion of inspection sheets and time sheets
* Ensure that standards are maintained relative to maintenance/cleanliness of vehicles.
* Maintain health and safety standards
