Technician/MOT Test

Our client is a Volume Main dealership and are looking for an experienced Technician to join their busy Service Department.

Key role and responsibilities for this Technician/MOT Tester role are:

* Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard
* Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturer’s scheduled times to maintain efficiency
* Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilised in line with group and manufacturer standards
* Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety
* Be able to liaise effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels in a polite and efficient manner
* To be aware of the importance and implication of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and work to ensure they are met at all times

Minimum requirements for this Technician/MOT Tester role are:

* Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
* Have at least 2 years’ experience after qualifying period, of working in a Dealership as a Technician (or similar)
* Excellent customer service skills
* Good technical knowledge
* Must have a Driving License
* The ability to work without supervision
* Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work

Salary: £24-28k + time saved / Team bonus

Location: Redhill/Gatwick/Crawley/Horley/Surrey

HGV Night Shift Technician

I am currently working with an established Main Dealership in the Grimsby area who are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a HGV Night Shift Technician.

My client is an established Main Dealership based in various locations around the UK.

The role of a HGV Technician is to work within the workshop dealing with the repair and service of commercial vehicles in a timely manner and within ministry standards, it’s a busy dealership workshop.

You will be joining a team of highly qualified HGV technicians and your main duties will include:

Responsible for keeping customers trucks and trailers compliant with O Licence regulations. Full service and repairs Commercial Vehicles. The Efficient and timely diagnosis of standard faults and ensure underlying problems are resolved. Carrying out pre-MOT work as and when required. Working to deadlines to ensure that work is completed on time.

Main dealership experience is preferred but not essential

Experience in the repair and maintenance of Trucks and vans is essential.

A Class 1 or 2 licence is a real advantage.

Overtime is available.

The Candidate

* Level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent
* LCV Experience
* Own Tools
* Overtime paid at time & a half
* Working shifts & hours: Nightshift 6pm – 6pm 4 nights per week
* Monday – Thursday & Tuesday – Friday
* Salary – £14.40ph + overtime + career development and training
