Job Title – Auto Electrician

Salary – £31,726 – £37,210 per annum

Location – Leeds

I am currently working with a nationwide Bus operator in the Leeds area who are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a qualified Auto Electrician.

Applicants must have served a recognised apprenticeship as an Auto Electrician and have experience of working in the bus, train or commercial vehicle sector with 24 Volt vehicles.

Our Auto Electrician will have to be able to cope with the day-to-day pressures that a normal vehicle workshop brings. Experience with electrical fault finding, electrical repairs and diagnostic equipment is essential.

Possession of a full UK Driving licence is required and holding a Commercial Licence would be an advantage, however driver training can be provided to the successful Auto Electrician.

* Excellent customer service skills
* Good technical knowledge
* Must have a Driving License
* The ability to work without supervision

The Role

The Warehouse Operatives undertake a broad range of duties revolving around the handling and picking of motor parts, from bulky exhausts and heavy brake discs and batteries to packs of washers and clips. From receiving goods in, storage of stock, organising credits and compiling stock returns, you will be responsible for ensuring their parts are in the right place and are picked “right part, first time, every time” for their drivers to deliver. Days of night shifts available.

As part of the Warehouse Operative role you will:

* Be required to work in various departments from: Goods in, picking, packing, despatch & delivery
* Use modern warehouse technology (training provided)
* Work both independently & as a team

The successful candidate for this Warehouse Operative role will have:

* Basic Mathematics & English abilities
* Good level of fitness to be able to carry out physical labour
* Experience using handheld scanners (preferred but not essential)
