This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Panel Beater to join a leading Accident Repair centre.

Key role and responsibilities as a Panel Beater:

* Operation of body alignment jigs
* Panel straightening and filling
* Replacement of panels
* Welding and bonding of vehicle structure
* Removing & replacing complete body shell
* Keep an accurate list of parts required

Minimum requirements as a Panel Beater:

* Time served and/or qualified to city & guilds or NVQ level
* ATA is advantageous but not essential
* As a Panel Beater you should be efficient and all work must be completed to the required standard.

The Company

My client is a very well-established Fleet Rental business who specialist in long term hire within the commercial vehicle industry, some of their clients are very recognisable brands.

They are now looking to bring on board an additional Rental Operations Assistant to the team.

The Role

Rental

* Organise customer’s sourcing requirements from request through to on hire and off hire.
* Adhere to Company policy and procedures relating to the rental.
* Vehicle check in and check out and manage parking locations on computer system.

Compliance

* Ensure the customer’s servicing requirements are met for both Short Term & Long-Term fleets including system documentation updates. Drive compliance.
* Liaise with vendors and other branches to organise servicing of the fleet and validate service sheets.
* Administer customer service planners.

Administration

* Raise Work Orders and Purchase Orders to external vendors.
* Yard Check and validation.
* Process and obtain order no’s for damage or repairs.
* Deal with customer’s and vendor’s invoice queries.
* Handle new account enquiries for rental and 3rd party customers.
* Ensure sitting fleet is tagged correctly, e.g. Green/Amber/Red tag and comments entered correctly.
* Liaise with the DVSA to arrange MOT bookings and administer through to rebill.
* Warranty processing.
* Daily validation of technicians’ time.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role you should have:

* Experience with in the HGV/Trailer industry would be beneficial
* Vehicle Rental experience desirable
* Strong organisational skills
* Good customer service focus
* Computer literate

Hours

Monday to Friday 0800-1800 but can be a little flexible in this.

No weekend hours

What’s on offer?

On offer is a basic salary between £18,000 – £25,000 depending on your experience.

There is also a 15% bonus on top which is earning by hitting a set of KPI’s

Hours:
