The Company

My client is a very established commercial vehicle company who are now looking to recruit an experienced Technician to work on either vans or trucks.

LCV / HGV Technician

Salary: £28,000 – 34,000 (Depending on experience)

Location: Bournemouth / Poole / Dorset

Skills & Experience

As a Technician, the successful applicant will have

* Experience as either a Van or HGV Technician – essential.
* Formally qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent (May consider time served)
* HGV class 1 or 2 licenses would be added benefit
* Have tools
* UK Driving licence

Hours:

* Monday to Friday rotating shifts of 0700-1530 / 1530-2330.
* Alternate Saturday mornings which are paid at overtime rate
* There is plenty of overtime available which is also paid at a higher rate

What’s on offer?

* Depending on the level of your experience you can expect to earn between £23,000-£29,000 per year for working a 40-hour week.
* Additional £20 per late shift worked (£2600PA)
* Additional £2145 – £2681 for Saturdays
* All overtime and any Saturday hours are paid at an x1.5 rate.
* On-going training and progression
* 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
* Pension

The Role

Ideally, you will have:

What’s on offer?

On offer is an hourly rate of £9.50PH for a semi-skilled person and goes right up to £13.50 and beyond for an experienced individual.
