The Company:

My Client who have a site close to Stoke on Trent and are now looking to expand their team.

You will be working on a range of Trucks and Trailers.

Skills & Experience required for this HGV Technician role:

* Ideally have an NVQ level 3 or equivalent that is relevant to commercial vehicles but will also consider a level 2 or HGV experience.
* Full UK driving licence (Class 1 or 2 an advantage)
* Own tools (preferable)
* Experience as an HGV Technician

Auto Electrician – New Build

We are working with a busy manufacturer and designer of commercial vehicles, who are looking to expand their highly skilled team with a skilled auto electrician.

Hours 39 per week Monday to Friday

Your main duties as an Auto Electrician will include:

* Plan and provide electrical information, CAN programs and wiring schematics to allow effective and efficient vehicle builds
* Responsibility for the planning of the electrical systems and installations of each build, ensuring commonality of assembly/installation across vehicles.
* Discuss all aspects of vehicle electrical build spec with the customer in build meetings, by email & telephone etc, to confirm their exact requirements.
* Generate drawings to allow sub contract wiring harness manufacture.
* Compile and maintain a technical file to record all relevant information for each vehicle build.
* Write IFM system programs and maintain the company library & database of vehicle programs.
* Assess requisitioned major components for suitability and compatibility for each vehicle build and make amendments or suggestions as required.
* Provide detailed schematic electrical circuit diagrams for each completed build.
* Travel to customer’s premises to modify programs, and make electrical changes.
* Maintain up to date knowledge of market products and systems.
* Liaise and work with other departments as required.
* Liaise with product suppliers regarding technical issues.
* Assist service department with technical support, and customers directly if required.

Auto Electrician – New Build

Pay: dependant on experience but in the region of £14 – £15ph

Minimum requirements as a Panel Beater:

* Time served and/or qualified to city & guilds or NVQ level
* ATA is advantageous but not essential
