Vehicle Sales Administrator

Salary £20,000 – £22,000 (Depending on experience)

Location: Bristol

The Role

As Vehicle Sales Administrator you will work closely with the management team and control all aspects of Sales Administration.

Ensure effective sales administration that supports the dealerships sales department.

You will assist with the Sales function by controlling and issuing purchase orders for external purchased, ensuring cost lines are created and the time an order is raised, by reviewing vehicle accruals regularly and reporting your results and ensuring WIP is correct with estimated and accurate Registration dates and profit levels reported.

Skills & Experience

As a Vehicle Sales Administrator the successful applicant should have

* Automotive administration experience (car or commercial)
* Be familiar with a franchise dealership setup
* Good communicator
* Experience using a CRM / POS system
* Be well organised
* Have a keen eye for details

Hours:

* Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 (30-minute lunch break)
* No weekends or evenings required

What’s on offer?

* A starting basic salary of £20,000 – £22,000 basic
* On-going training and progression

* You will have a clear understanding of modern repair processes and techniques, also an eye for driving sales opportunities combined with strong interpersonal skills.

Early and late shifts

Your main duties will include:

* Service, maintain and repair vehicles components and accessories, in line with the company, client and/or manufacturer’s instructions, including removal and refitting in a safe, proper and economical manner using equipment provided. Diagnose faults and test vehicles utilising equipment available and using recognised test procedures and techniques. Including road testing where deemed necessary

What do I need to do the role?

You’ll need experience in servicing and repairing HGVs/LGVs and knowledge of HGV/LGV technical specifications and maintenance requirements

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

* Qualified to level 3 city and guilds or IMI.
* Dealership experience is desirable
* Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements
* High degree of attention to detail
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Ability to actively seek solutions to problems
* Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks
* Lastly, you will need to have a full UK Class C1 driving licence
